Preparing for Screening Test - Do's and Don'ts
Don't wear heavy make-up: the agent or talent scout needs to see your face and your face structure.
- Don't tan: it leaves marks and
can look unbalanced.
- Don't burn in the sun: sunburn
can distort your facial features and make your skin
can look dry and wrinkled.
- Do be on time. Treat this like
the business that it is.
- Do shake hands - like the
confident professional you are.
- Do listen. Asking at a later
stage to explain something already covered can create
the perception that you were not interested enough to
listen the first time.
- Do wear conservative, stylish
clothes. Look your best.
- Do take along photos of
yourself so the agent can see how you look in
photograph.
Preferably an 8 X 10 black and white or colour headshot and/or a portfolio if you have one.
